Ultra 4 Epoxy Parfilm Mould Release (now Ultralease EPX GP) is recommended for epoxy resins. Its highly effective, micro-thin, film-forming application offers a better release than polyvinyl alcohol or wax. Its micro-thin film maintains the fidelity of the cast piece and affords better surface reproduction and finish. Heat stable to 635ºF.
This release also works very well when releasing gelatine and Key-Cap encapsulated gel filled appliances from fiberglass, PU or epoxy moulds. When using Super-Cap Plastic I would tend to combine this with Eject-It #33 Petrolease or petroleum jelly.
