TinSil 8030 is a 1A:10B mix ratio, tin-cured silicone with a mid-range hardness and a tough, snappy, high-tear cure. Moulds made from TinSil 8030 are often used for casting polyurethane, epoxy and polyester resin, as well as foam, wax, soap, plaster, and more.
Release agent is not required for most casting applications. This rubber can be poured as is, or can be thickened with Tin Thix liquid thickening agent for brush-on moulds.
Tested by an independent laboratory and were found to comply with 21 CFR 177.2600 (as published in the Code of Federal Regulations)* for rubber articles intended for repeated use food contact surfaces when accurately measured, thoroughly mixed, and fully cured.
