Industrial PET CF Filament
Raise3D Industrial PET CF is a carbon fiber-reinforced composite filament based on PET (Polyethylene terephthalate). With 15wt% well-dispersed carbon fibers, it offers enhanced rigidity, strength, and resistance to heat and chemicals. After annealing, PET CF achieves a heat resistance of around 150°C, with a tensile modulus over 6 GPa and tensile strength of 80 MPa. Compared to carbon fiber-reinforced Nylon, PET CF provides superior printability, dimensional stability, high creep resistance, and low moisture absorption. It’s ideal for strong, cost-effective end-use applications like jigs, fixtures, and functional parts.
*The filament is provided inside a sealed dry storage bag, and the outlet and shaft ensure the printer smoothly loads the filament while also keeping it dry.
*Due to the higher carbon fiber content of PET filaments, when printing PET CF, an extra wear-resistant nozzle and extrusion system are required for a consistent printing performance. The RMF500 are specially designed for printing high-performance fiber-reinforced composite filaments. As such, it is recommended to use the Raise3D Industrial PET CF filament exclusively on the RMF500.
