Liquid Latex is also known as dipping latex. The term dipping latex comes from making a mould by literally dipping an item (chess pieces being the popular one) in to the liquid rubber and letting each layer dry and then dipping it again until you get the required thickness. Used for all kinds of things in the world of makeup FX and prosthetics including making bladders, bald caps, latex masks, skin peeling and direct applied effects, making chunks ‘o’ flesh and many, many more.
