Herculite 2 is a popular general purpose mould making and casting plaster. It is medium/hard density so can be used when making two piece moulds for casting silicone or gelatine prosthetic appliances, but is less appropriate for foam latex moulds. It is fast setting so good for building up large moulds and as a case mould for silicone matrix or brush up moulds. Herculite is also a good plaster for casting positives from life casts.
