EL-300 is a high performance epoxy resin system which has been formulated specifically for the manufacture of large composite structures using hand layup and vacuum bagging techniques. The system has been designed to give excellent mechanical and thermal properties from both ambient temperature cures, and low temperature post cures. Once mixed the system shows excellent wetting characteristics and is ideally suited for use with high performance reinforcements such as carbon fibre and aramids like Kevlar.
EL-300 Epoxy Resin System should be mixed with the EL-300 Hardener at a ratio of 100 parts of resin to 30 parts of hardener, by weight. This system has a working of around 30-40 minutes, and is de-mouldable in 16-24 hours. Full cure time within 3-5 days.
