Crestomer 1150PA is our two-part pre-accelerated structural adhesive based on unsaturated urethane acrylate in a styrene monomer. This adhesive is highly thixotropic, preventing sagging on vertical surfaces and providing a short fixture time of only 5 hours with an inevitably strong bond.
This powerful fast fixing adhesive will be explicitly useful for OEMs, including speciality vehicle and boat builders as well as FRP repair services. Recommended substrates include stainless steel, aluminium, marine ply, balsa and GRP/FRP.
Scott Bader have developed Crestomer 1150PA to provide an enhanced finish and no damage to aesthetic characteristics by preventing high exotherm temperatures, something that not all adhesives can promise.
To achieve high quality results, application needs to be carried out between the temperatures of 18°C and 25°C and all surfaces need to be correctly cleaned and free of grease or dust. Crestomer 1150PA is supplied in either 25Kg or 200Kg containers and should be stored between 2°C and 23 °C in the original unopened container to protect its application and mechanical properties.
