Di-Clean is a low viscosity and low VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds) specialist solvent that has multiple applications such as;
Thinning various silicones for painting applications:
Cleaner and safer than using white spirits or lighter fluid. DiClean can be used to thin platinum silicones such as Plat Sil Gel 10 to make a paint base and for airbrushing, it will also thin silicone caulks and adhesives for painting.
Cleaning and degreasing silicone for painting:
Will degrease and remove dirt and residual release agents from the silicone surface. It is also skin safe.
Shrinking and expanding silicone:
By adding to moulding and casting silicones it will evaporate from the cured rubber allowing it to shrink uniformly. Cured silicone rubber immersed in DiClean will temporarily expand in size.
